For wrinkles:
In the event your outdoor curtains become wrinkled, we recommend using an iron set to “synthetic fabric” setting. Make sure to test your iron on a smaller section, to ensure the correct temperature is being applied.
Under NO circumstances should you dry clean your Sunbrella® or Tempotest® outdoor curtains.
For spot cleaning follow these steps:
- Apply a light mist of mild soap and water using a spray bottle.
- Work the solution into the stain by lightly scrubbing the area with a sponge or soft cloth.
- Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
- Air Dry.
- Repeat these steps until stain is removed.
For Machine washing follow these steps:
- Pre-treat any heavily stained areas with an appropriate stain remover (We recommend either 303 Fabric Cleaner or Oxyclean).
- Depending on wash load size, use normal amounts of mild laundry soap.
- Machine wash in cold water on a low-cycle for best results.
- Air Dry.
For Stubborn Stains and/or Mildew follow these steps:
- Add 1 cup of bleach to the cleaning solution.
- Soak fabric for 10 - minutes in the diluted cleaning solution (stop machine prior to agitation).
- Machine wash in cold water.
- Air Dry.
**Machine Drying any of our outdoor curtains can potentially harm the fabric and is not recommended.
