My style is a mix between Coastal and Shabby Chic. I love anything related to the beach and the ocean, if it is vintage and has a story, even better. I tend to go for items that are durable and can stand the test of time. I tend use a lot blue hues in my decorating, mainly because it is just such calming color for me.
I grew up close to the coast and spent my summers at the beach, so being able to bring home a piece that reminds me of the coast is a plus in my book. I was born and raised in Maryland, so I love anything that reminds me of where I grew up. As a child we would frequent the Eastern Shore and spent many hours on my Uncle's boat crabbing and fishing. This crab pillow brings back those amazing childhood memories spent with my family.
Living in the South, having a rocker is a necessity, and the rocker below is the most comfortable I have ever sat in. I love the cedar color because it is able to blend with so many other colors. The rope matches the hammock and so it ties in perfectly with the rest of the decor.
A side table is a must because it is so functional, and durable. It is made of a material called durawood, basically melted down plastic milk jugs. It also comes in a wide array of colors, you are sure to find the color you need. I would use it as an accent for the rockers, as well as for the porch swing, because well, you just have to have a place to set your sweet tea.

- DuraCord® Rope: Solution-dyed synthetic blend rope that balances the softness of cotton with the durability of polyester. This combination makes the rope All-Weather proof and resistant to rot, mold, and mildew.
- Oak Spreader Bar: Oak is naturally resistant to rot and insect infestation. The spreader bars are repeatedly hand-dipped in honey-gold marine-grade varnish for exceptional look and longer outdoor life.
- Double-Latch Weave: Individual ropes pull against each other to produce a lattice-like design, thus eliminating the need for knots within the rope bed itself. We use 15% more rope than most of our competitors.
